Continue The Tradition

Pure Vermont maple syrup from our forests to your front door.

Pure Vermont Maple syrup

At Lamb Sugarworks we aim to continue the Vermont tradition of making maple syrup at a small scale with attention to detail.  We see ourselves as forest stewards, only temporarily inhabiting a wonderful piece of Vermont geography with a duty to conserve and protect the land we love.

Our Community

Maple syrup in Vermont is more than a business, it is a centuries-old Vermont tradition that connects our neighbors and local community.  Maple production involves many elements of forestry, science, even engineering, but above all, it is something that brings us together.  Without the help and involvement of local friends, family, neighbors, town officials, and lease partners, Lamb Sugarworks could not have grown into the small family maple farm it is today.  Thank you!

Eco Friendly

We feel it is our responsibility to conduct our business in an environmentally sustainable fashion. 100% of our power comes from solar panels installed on our farm. We follow our own strict forestry guidelines for tree stand management and tree tapping to ensure sustainable long-term tree and forest health. Our maple evaporator is fueled by wood from the farm rather than oil or propane, and maple sap is concentrated with a reverse osmosis machine to reduce the amount of wood consumption by 75%. Lamb Sugarworks is a participating producer with the Audubon Society’s Bird-Friendly Maple Project, which manages forests for better bird habitat. 100% of our tubing waste is recycled, and every effort is made to reduce and reuse when possible.
